The latest food trend to strike California would be burritos stuffed with heroin and refried beans and cheese that can be found in the Los Angeles County Jail served by allegedly corrupt sheriff's deputies. One wonders when Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez, a Democrat, will start considering the nutritional value of this Mexican drug cartel platter for her inmates.
The Los Angeles Times reports that, "the young woman sat by herself in a hallway of the bustling courthouse, nervously clasping a brown paper bag. Inside was a warm bean and cheese burrito stuffed with 24 grams of black tar heroin."
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy, Henry Marin, peeked out from a courtroom and waved her over for his meal.
According to the LA Times, "as the handoff was made, no one appeared to be paying attention – until a voice commanded: 'Deputy Martin, you need to stop.'"
Apparently, the alleged female inmate was an undercover cop conducting a 'heroin burrito' sting operation.

I was wondering if the Dallas County jails would begin monitoring and beefing up security to make sure no inmates are receiving illegal drugs.
