Hackers are coordinating with radical Muslim terrorists in the United States to destroy the nation’s sewer systems. Hence, U.S. navy sailors will not be the only Americans to endure clogged toilets and suffer the unpleasant consequences. According to the Houston Chronicle, “a hacker identified only as ‘prof’ posted diagrams of the south Houston sewer system (located in U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee’s (D.-Tx.) Congressional District) online to show how easy it is to infiltrate the system.” On Saturday, South Houston Mayor Joe Soto disclosed that now harm was caused to the sewer system, and the control system called Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, has been taken offline. Soto, who discovered on Friday about the hacking, said, “the plant runs automatically anyway. We just disconnected the SCADA system. That takes us off being online, where someone could change some of the operations on their own.” As reported by the Houston Chronicle, “the Department of Homeland Security and FBI are responding to the incident and will be investigating, Soto said.” The hacker claimed he posted South Houston’s information after a similar breach occurred in Springfield, Il. that reportedly caused the control system to power on and off, bursting a water pump. written by 1389AD , November 22, 2011 It's about time we start paying attention to protecting our infrastructure against e-jihadi attack. Problem is, we've outsourced way too much of our software industry to foreigners whose loyalty is not to us. We've brought in tech workers under h-1b visas to displace loyal, well-trained, experienced, and hard-working American citizens. The first thing we need to do is to put a stop to all of that.
