Apparently, the Obama family is preparing for life after the White House. First Lady Michelle Obama coordinated a Barack Obama re-election campaign trip at a Target store in the swing state of
She brought along an AP photographer to portray herself as an ordinary American forced to shop at a discount shop during these recessionary times. But it turns out; the trip was a marketing campaign to promote a new clothing line at Target.
MyFoxNewsNewYork reports that, “Jason Wu for Target is expected to be a lot more tame than Missoni for Target, which crashed Target’s website and had items selling out in one day. That is because Jason Wu is only designing apparel and not home goods.”
First Lady Michelle Obama launched his career when she wore his one-shouldered white floor-length chiffon gown that was seen around the world at the inaugural balls. The Parson’s graduate is just 29-years-old.
According to MyFoxNewsNewYork, “Target says the collection will be available from February 5 through March 6, 2012. The collection will include handbags and scarves.”
First Lady Michelle is taking advantage of her White House connections to promote Jason Yu’s clothing line that will soon be introduced at Target stores.
