Like Voting for Hitler! PDF Print E-mail
by James Reza    Sun, Mar 27, 2011, 07:11 PM

Most of us I believe have our own personal heroes.  My heroes come from all walks of life: political, religious and those who have and are fighting for human rights.  “Who are my heroes?” some might ask.  For starters I’ll name President Abraham Lincoln, President Harry Truman, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, Martin Luther King and just recently, Pastor Stephen Broden, a black Baptist minister from Dallas, Texas.

Most, I believe know of the achievements of my heroes with the exception of Pastor Stephen Broden.  Pastor Broden my friends, spearheads a Texas-based an anti-abortion group, Life Always.  Just recently, Pastor Broden and his group bought a billboard a half-mile from a Planned Parenthood facility in Manhattan (New York).  The billboard showed a black girl along with this statement, “The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb!”  The billboard’s message followed a report that was released by the New York City Department of Health that revealed an abortion rate of 41% of all pregnancies in the city in 2009-10 — with 59.8% of those involving African American women.  The billboard outraged many New York politicians, mostly Democrats, along with Rev. Al Sharpton who along with other New York abortion groups fought to have it removed.  Folks, if Al Sharpton is a minister, I proclaim that I’m a Cardinal in the Catholic Church.  Pastor Broden said his group bought the billboard to get exactly that kind of debate going.  Life Always, the Texas-based group claims Planned Parenthood targets minority neighborhoods and that abortions among African-American women are three times that of the rest of the population.  Pro-life black activist Alveda King, and niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., quotes her uncle often when outlining her opposition of abortion.  She writes: [Martin Luther King, Jr.] once said, “The Negro cannot win as long as he is willing to sacrifice the lives of his children for comfort and safety.”  How can the “Dream” survive if we murder the children?  Every aborted baby is like a slave in the womb of his or her mother.  The mother decides his or her fate.

Ms. King called the removal of a the pro-life billboard in Manhattan “an outrageous act of censorship.”  Ms. King further stated, “This billboard should be posted in every city of the country!  The message of this billboard is totally accurate.”  She went on to say that the billboard should provoke outrage in the African-American community — not because it is racist, but because of the truth it reveals; the truth that is being kept from the African-American community.  Ms. King said the billboard should have provoked a different kind of outrage.  “Black people in New York and all over the country should be outraged at the numbers of black babies we lose every single day to abortion,” King said.  “An astonishing 60 percent of African-American pregnancies in the five boroughs of New York City end in abortion.  “That’s unfathomable,” King said.

The billboard message was a project of thatsabortion.com, which paid for the message as part of its Life Always project.  “There is a battle being waged in the United States that has taken more lives than any foreign war or act of terrorism,” the Web sites states about the project.  “The enemy is abortion and its supporters include the main stream media, liberal representatives in government and Planned Parenthood, the country’s largest abortion provider supported mostly by Democrats and President Obama.

Conservative talk host, Rush Limbaugh, hearing the story began one of his radio segments by proclaiming New York “the abortion capital of the world” and then just went from there.  Rush went on to say that Planned Parenthood put up clinics mostly in black neighborhoods and those who make money off of them are liberals, leftists, and pro-abortion types.  Rush while laughing said that Planned Parenthood is doing the job the Klan could never finish.

Several years ago while vacationing in San Antonio my wife and I attended mass at the chapel at Brooks AFB.  During the homily three women carrying three beautiful Hispanic babies went to the podium.  The women were volunteers for Allied Women’s Center of San Antonio a pro-life organization, which I’ve supported for many years.  The women told the congregation how they went to Planned Parenthood Clinics throughout San Antonio to try to dissuade women considering an abortion.  They advised the women who planned to abort their babies that they would care for them and provide pre-natal medical help to let their babies live.  They went on to say that most of the women who allowed their babies to live often kept them after they saw them when they were born.  Other babies, like the ones they had at church were put up for adoption where many childless couples were waiting to adopt them.  Though Hispanics made up 12.5% of the U.S. population Hispanic women accounted for 25% of all U.S. abortions in 2008-10.  San Antonio boasts a large Hispanic population and I imagine that the Planned Parenthood killing clinics there are extremely busy.

Almost all Democrats support the right to abortion and for the continued funding of Planned Parenthood Clinics.  To me, Blacks and Hispanics who vote for pro abortion Democrats are like “Jews voting for Hitler!”

Final note:  As I was looking for stats on abortion I read this comment by a Catholic blogger on Yahoo — “Though I detest abortion, nor do I vote for politicians who do so, you have to look at the bright side of this atrocity, they’re killing millions of future liberal Democrat voters!”

James said;
"if Al Sharpton is a minister, I proclaim that I’m a Cardinal in the Catholic Church"

You're just about getting on the right track.

You're a "CARDINAL SINNER" who claims to know God and the Catholic faith.

"QUOTE"

"you have to look at the bright side of this atrocity, they’re killing millions of future liberal Democrat voters!”

There you go; you're supporting the Republican controlled Supreme Court that voted for the right for women to abort in 1973 (Roe V Wade).

But you know what? Bush made the same mistake in Iraq that his father made with his mother. "HE DIDN'T PULL OUT IN TIME."

Yes he has. James always checks his mind to be sure he isn't misguided nor misconceives anything.

Wait! "APRIL FOOL."
