According to the Houston Chronicle, “a new Rasmussen Reports poll of Texans finds Texas Gov. Rick Perry with enough support to win the election for the first time this year. Former Houston Mayor Bill White in the meantime has lost ground, despite a round of television advertising.” Apparently, Mr. White is losing support in his home-base of Houston. The ‘Bill White Houston Political Machine’ is woefully stumbling with a statewide campaign. To read the entire article from the Houston Chronicle, link here:

written by Robbins Mitchell , May 17, 2010 Frankly I don't find this surprising at all since White continues to wet his political panties over so called 'global warming' and is apparently still hopelessly enamored of climate fraud and all around jerk Dr James Hansen...that alone shows me he has no business being governor of Texas

written by Shadrach , May 18, 2010 Ken: White balanced the budget every year, when he left the rainy day fund three times the size as when he entered; and, yes, during the Great Recession, he actually did use some of the rainy day funds because, the Great Recession qualifies as a "rainy day." http://www.politifact.com/texas/statements/2010/mar/21/annise-parker/annise-parker-says-years-houston-has-been-spending/ G S: Last time I checked California had a GOP Governor, and the last time the federal budget was balanced there was a Dem in the White House. Plus, Correlation and causation are two different things. What is the cause of Michigan's ills - is it their Democratic governor or their near total reliance on smoekstack industries we have outsourced to Asia? Robbins: Sounds like you have been listening to false GOP Propoganda too. Despite what the GOP State Chair said, White has not favored Cap and Trade. http://www.politifact.com/texa...ll-white-/ Write comment
