Kagan Pick Disturbs Pro-Life Groups Print E-mail

Abortion Kagan.jpgPresident Barack Obama nominated Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court to replace Justice John Paul Stevens. She’s a 50-year-old former dean of Harvard Law School and he her abortion stance is certainly one that Obama endorses, even if he appears reluctant to talk about it openly.

LifeNews reports that, “the reticence is understandable, with Republicans threatening to take back Congress in November – a conservative backlash that could halt Obama’s sweeping agenda and with most Republican senators having voted against confirming Kagan to her post of solicitor general.”

Nevertheless, pro-life organizations, who observed the likes of Kagan for a living, feel deeply disturbed.

President of Americans United for Life, Charmaine Yoest, who represents the legal arm of the pro-life movement, says Kagan is “an ardent abortion supporter,” informing LifeNews: “Elena Kagan has strong ties to abortion-advocacy organizations and expressed admiration for activist judges who have worked to advance social policy rather to impartially interpret the law.”

According to LifeNews, “seconding Yoest is Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, which backs pro-life women who run for office. ‘Kagan has been a strong supporter of the pro-abortion agenda,’ says Dannenfelser. Among other things, Kagan ‘vigorously opposed the de-funding of taxpayer-funded clinics which promote abortions.’ Dannenfelser added: ‘If confirmed to sit on the Supreme Court, Kagan will serve as a rubber stamp for President Obama’s radical pro-abortion agenda.”

Executive director of Catholic Families for America, Dr. Kevin Roberts, claims Kagan has been “actively hostile … to the unborn,” and expresses “grave concerns” about Kagan’s “dangerous internationalism” i.e., a disturbing recent trend among certain “progressive”/activist judges to cite, say, European Law rather than the U.S. Constitution.

Sign the petition now against Obama pro-abortion Supreme Court pick:

Elena Kagan is an inexperienced far-Left loony Progressive with personal perversions that do not belong on the High Court.

If you knew nothing about her, who appointed her would be enough for most intelligent people to reject her. But, the more one knows about her, the more antithetical she appears to sitting on the Supreme Court and making reasoned decisions about the United States Constitution.

It's also interesting that she has far, far, less experience than Harriet Miers, yet she's being touted for her "range" of experience (since her depth of experience doesn't exist).

Being Dean of Harvard Law School doesn't give someone valid legal experience for the Supreme Court, and Kagan is the living embodiment of that lack of experience.

Leave it to Obama to appoint another legal and personal pervert to the Supreme Court to advance the Progressive Socialist agenda.

Kagan is a communist monster of the Harvard variety : all ego, and no real world understanding or ecxperience. She is not a right to life supporter, which in my book makes her a sheer tool of Satan: a friend to murder, darkness and death. This monster does not belong on the bench of any court.

Allow me to shorten this article for everyone:

A Democratic President made a decision. Conservatives oppose it because it was a Democrat President who made it. Absolutely no other facts were considered.

That this woman is a sexual pervert who seems confused about her private life wouldn't bother me a bit if she were a store clerk. But, if she wants to be a Supreme Court Judge, then her personal perversions like to come before the court are a matter for public discussion.

She also has problems with the military, with the First Amendment, with the Second Amendment, and with interpretation of the Constitution.

That America's most liberal and inexperienced President nominated the most inexperienced and liberal Supreme Court candidate says it all.
