The Real Estate Council (TREC) Announces More FightNight Details
The Rat Pack is back, or at least for one night at The Real Estate Council’s FightNight with a Las Vegas style-Rat Pack theme on Thursday, May 6th.
TREC also announces internationally known Jimmy Lennon Jr. will serve as the ring announcer for 22nd annual FightNight on Thursday, May 6th at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Anatole. He has built his announcing career in the boxing ring over the past 25 years, following in the footsteps of his world-renowned father, Jimmy Lennon Sr. Additionally, Dallas' first world champion professional boxer, Curtis Cokes is one of the many notable guests planning to attend FightNight. Outside the ring, he appeared in the boxing film Fat City and is now a full-time trainer. Fort Worth’s world champion Paulie Ayala is also set to attend.
In the past, notable guests such as Troy Aikman, President George W. Bush, Roger Staubach, and boxers such as Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Lennox Lewis, Joe Frazier have attended TREC FightNight. In 1992, a 12-year-old named LeAnn Rimes sang the national anthem to open the event.
TREC also reveals that the 2010 FightNight fundraiser includes a luxury raffle with chances to win a Caneel Bay Resort stay in St. John; a St. Louis Cardinals weekend stay with game tickets; a Las Vegas getaway and more. Raffle tickets are available from Associate Leadership Council (ALC) members to benefit TREC Foundation charities and the class’ community service project, YMCA Park South.
