Sen. Hutchison 'Earmark Queen' Song Hits Airwaves Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Fri, Feb 26, 2010, 10:34 am
Bailey Queen.jpgDo you love singing in the shower? Unless you live in Venezuela, where President Hugo Chavez outlawed this activity, you can sing your heart out to the catchy-tune of "Earmark Queen," originally performed by Stephanie Daulong, an Austin, Texas resident who appeared on Season Nine of 'American Idol,' and is produced by Adam McInnis.

According to the Houston Chronicle, "even in humor, lie is one of those words political campaigns usually avoid. But in a new Web video, Gov. Rick Perry's campaign accuses U.s. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison of "lies." Here's the line: "Every Texan wonders why; the things you turn into lies; Voting for the bailout why oh why?"

Are you anxious to memorize the lyrics to "Earmark Queen," well, here they are:

In Washington restraint is low

Looking out for yourself we know

Where they spend all the money

Growing the debt

You have become the Queen

Each Texan wonders why

The things you turn into lies

Voting for the bailout why oh why?

You're always flip-flopping

And when it's time to vote

You are the Earmark Queen

Spend and spend wasting our money

Earmark Queen spend and spend

Even the Treasury oh no!

You can spend you can bailout

Giving away all the cash

Fund that pork waste money

You are the Earmark Queen

I don't know about you, but I'm going to put the "Earmark Queen" on my ipod and place it on my ring-tones. Perhaps, I'll even set my alarm clock to it.
