Brice Beaird  Launches New CD “Now Appearing” in a Concert with Beatlegras on Tuesday, December 15, benefiting Mental Health America’s Operation Healthy Reunions

Brice Beaird's upcoming CD “Now Appearing” will be released at a concert on Tuesday evening, December 15 at Lakewood Theatre, featuring the fabulous band Beatlegras in the first set and Beaird in the second set, benefiting Mental Health America’s Operation Healthy Reunions.
A well-known local singer whose voice is smooth as silk with a James Taylor-esque edge, Beaird is a regular performer at local venues such as Poor David's Pub and has appeared at Border’s Books and Opening Bell Coffee on Lamar.

The new CD features 13 new original songs, including the very thoughtful, He's My Son, to the funny and whimsical, I've Got No Friends in My Space. The new album also features When Will It End, a moving tribute to soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, written by Beaird to benefit the programs of Mental Health America of Greater Dallas including Operation Healthy Reunions, which offers free reduced fee and therapeutic services for military personnel and their families.

We encourage you to go out and enjoy the great music and, at the same time, support the worthy cause of helping our troops and their families to have safe and healthy homecomings.

"Operation Healthy Reunions offers counseling to our returning military who may suffer mental issues and need help,” Brice said, “The program is not only for the individuals, but also their families. In the past, little has been done for our soldiers who return from warwith what is now referred to as the invisible wounds. Now, OHR offers such a program.  It is my hope that my song, When Will it End, will help raise awareness of this service, through national song and video airplay.”

The evening begins at 5:30 PM with a VIP reception and silent auction. Show starts at 7:00 PM.  Sponsorships are available. General Admission $50, VIP seats $100 and Lounge table seating is $500. It is open to the public by purchasing tickets in advance: Call 214-821-SHOW (7469).
