You can help America's foremost green guru accomplish his goal of reaching the 'Billionaires' Boys' Club' at a quicker than anticipated pace. The cash you hand over will likely pay for his fuel costs as Mr. Gore travels with a convoy of gas-guzzling SUVs and a private first class jet. The Washington Times reports that, "an official announcement from this fair Danish city says all: the former vice president is getting star treatment when he arrives with an entire swarm of green-minded gadflies for the United Nation's week-long global warming extravaganza that begins Dec. 7." The Danish tourism commission is quoted as saying that, "have you ever shaken hands with an american vice president? If not, now is your chance. Meet Al Gore in Copenhagen during the UN Climate Change Conference." Mr. Gore will be promoting 'Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis,' his most recent book about the alarming effects of the so-called global warming theory. He's hoping to boost sales since it's selling poorly in comparison to Sarah Palin's best-selling 'Going Rogue' autobiography. The Washington Times quotes his book promotional packet as saying that, "tickets are available in different price ranges for the event. If you want it all, you can purchase a VIP ticket, where you get a chance to shake hands with Al Gore, get a copy of 'Our Choice' and have your picture taken with him. The VIP event costs ($1,209.00) and includes drinks and a light snack." In the eyes of environmental activists, Mr. Gore will be accompanied by lesser known green politicians, which includes President Barack Obama, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and Energy Secretary Steven Chu. Good news on the global warming front. Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore will shake your hand for a mere $1,209 at the United Nation's Global Climate Change Summit to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark on Dec. 7.
