It is an insult to all of the people of the State of Texas, and many other states, that their representatives were not included in the closed-door meetings constructing this monstrous bill.

It is an insult to all Americans, and a number of conservative Democrats, that liberals Harry Reid and others in the Senate produced a bill over 2,000 pages long, but allowed not even 72 hours for it to be read before a vote is called Saturday to bring it to the floor of the Senate.

This bill impacts every American alive today, and to be born generations in the future. Yet, citizens are not allowed reasonable time to read the bill and analyze it.

We pay for it, it dictates our health care to us, and it makes medical servants of us, but we can't dare read the bill and have an opinion to express to our representatives who, for the most part, weren't including in its writing, and won't be able to read the bill either.

We don't even have the final accurate scoring on this bill from the CBO, yet Harry Reid and liberal Democrats acting on Obama's behalf MUST rush this bill to the floor Saturday, knowing full well that 60% of Americans are AGAINST the government taking over of health care.

The bill is probably unconstitutional. There is nothing in the constitution that gives the central government permission or authority to control all Americans' health and medical care and services.

We haven't seen it yet, but it will be in the final bill that all health care workers must be members of the Service Employees International Union, which will further raise health care costs; costs that WE have to pay for.

This bill is a travesty, and just another reason why Barack Obama, Pelosi, and Reid need to be extracted from our government like toxic rotten teeth. Otherwise, they will keep biting us and poisoning our country.

Regardless of what side of this issue people may be on, they need to know that the numbers don't work.

These bills will not create net jobs; they will cost dearly net jobs.

The estimates of Medicare costs were off more than 700%, and the creation bills were smaller and less ambitious. These are far worse by many times.

We are out of money, so anything we do impacts the national debt. These bills are far from deficit neutral, and will have an increasingly explosive impact on the national debt for years.

Why not make Medicaid available to those who do not have insurance, and provide a subsidy to the states to pick up their portion of it. Many of those without insurance are in that situation because of layoffs. So, they only need "bridge" insurance until they are employed again.

This healthcare legislation is like bringing in Frankenstein to completely rebuild someone when all they needed was a broken bone to be splinted.

(When they don't include a Table of Contents with a 2,074 page bill, you know someone is trying to hide the ball.)
