Final plans are set for the 2009 Veterans Day Parade Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in downtown Dallas. An Oath of Enlistment will be given to over 100 area enlistees by Gen. Travis at 10:45 AM. The "Eleventh Hour Ceremony" commences at 11:00 AM at City Hall.

The parade will commence at 11:20 AM, from Reunion Arena through downtown Dallas on Main Street and pass in review in front of Dallas City Hall. The parade will feature over 150 military and veterans organizations, the 1st Calvary Division Band - Horse Detachment and one of their marching units, the 36th Infantry Division Band, Texas Army National Guard, as well as area high school bands and JROTC units.
