Japanese Diplomats Refuse to Visit White House PDF Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Thu, Nov 5, 2009, 05:36 PM

America Japan.jpgThis week, there had been plans for a Washington meeting betwen Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. However, Japanese officials unceremoniously cancelled the summit.

According to the BBC News, "Japan's government said the talks had been cancelled because of an inability to co-ordinate schedules. The meeting had been planned to take place before U.S. President Barack Obama visits Tokyo next week."

Diplomatic relations bewtween the two nations have been strained by a row over a U.S. military base on Japan's Okinawa Island.

Hirofumi Hirano, the chief cabinet secretary, told reporters that, "the visit this time was cancelled as the Japanese side could not co-ordinate the timing amid various scheduling demands such as parliamentary sessions. I don't think it will affect relations between Japan and the United States."

Correspondents believe the cancellation was partly due to the Diet, parliament of Japan, was in session, but also since there seemed to be disagreement within the government of Japan over the direction of policy.

Kurt Campbell, the top U.S. diplomat for Asia, will visit Tokyo for talks on Thursday, the State Department has announced.

As reported by BBC News, "U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates was recently in Tokyo urging Japan to honor a 2006 agreement on relocating a U.S. airbase to another part of Okinawa."

Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, during his election campaign, claimed he wanted a more equal security relationship with the U.S. - and pledged a more "autonomous" foreign strategy.

Since the end of World war II., the U.S. has been Japan's pivotal security ally, and there are presently some 47,000 American troops in the nation, most of them on Okinawa. Their presence provides a security guarantee to Japan.

The real reason the Japanese will not be wasting their time at the BAHAMA White House is simple for world leaders to understand, but the Japanese are too tactful to come out and state it in some sort of a press release.

The real reason is that the Japanese know the extent to which this present "U. S. Administration" is in fact simply the lackey and tool of the CHICOM. The Japanese are also well aware that when the CHICOM say "jump", their little empress [now the U. S. Secretary of State] asks them "How High".

Sadly, all world leaders know about these things. But the U. S. mainstream press, acting like PRAVDA of the nineteeen fifties, fails to mention any of it to mainstream Americans.

"Patriotic American" :

Please provide your real name and your phone number, and I will call you.

Meanwhile, if you are really a patriotic American, I suggest that you read THE EMPRESS PROJECT. That book is a real patriots' project, and is the result of a lot of research and analysis work by many real American patriots from various places. Sorry : I cannot give you a copy without knowing who you are and where to send it. But,even if you decline to identify yourself, you can get a copy through AMAZON.

Have a good day.
