The Texas Republic News revealed that Mrs. Agwai lived in a multi-million dollar town home in Manhattan, "never legally obtained a registered nursing license in her country of origen," received financial payments from ECOSOC, an agency which distributes financial and material aid to Third World nations, and billed an excessive expense account to the UN to pay for first class travel accomodations when she attended a 'World's AIDS Day' conference in Lagos, Nigeria on November 27, 2007. Recently, the Dallas Blog posted an article, which links Ruth Agwai to Planned Parenthood in Nigeria as revealed by internal UN documents. Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria partly funded a summit that she attended in Nigeria. The Inner City Press posted an article on June 19, 2009, stating: "the departure of Martin Luther Agwai as UNAMID force commander in Darfur would take place as questions have been raised about the UN's employment of his wife Ruth Agwai in the UN Medical Service, and her moonlighting for an NGO for the wives of Nigerian generals." Fox News frequently cites Inner City Press articles when posting UN stories Nevertheless, the director of UN Medical Service, Brian Davey, an unlicensed doctor, never imposed any sanctions against Ruth Agwai upon hearing the news that she was exposed in a Texas Republic News article. Ironically, it may have been her husband who suffered the consequences over her alleged misdeeds. Some employees at the UN are raising concerns that Mr. Davey had been too soft on Ruth Agwai, but too tough on other staff members who are unfriendly to Mrs. Agwai. The Dallas Blog has obtained more damaging UN internal documents which reveal negative information about Ruth Agwai as well as many other staff members at UN Medical Service, which will later be exposed in more follow-up stories. Has this Agwai joker funnelled all the money and oil out of Sudan! What about these Shell Oil Company stories with Agwai links? I hope the Government seize his assets like the Madoff case. How can he be allowed to live in our Country after his wife and him have just scammed millions of $$$$$. It appears funds from ECOSOC! These funds and purpose are for Economy not for the black-market and to buy million $$$$ property and open Abortion Clinics in Muslim Countries. WHAT? Are we hearing correctly? No wonder we read the UN wants to BAN the press. What the HELL is going on? American have a right to know! What is worse is that this is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA'S money.White and Blue Collar workers! This has to STOP! What has Congress said? Please write more! President Obama will also disaprove of how the US Funds have been misappropriated. As Americans we hope they are deported ASAP and the Government seize this Multi Million $$$ property in Manhattan of all places. written by Crime Stoppers , July 04, 2009 We do not believe this? Is this the UN? Why is this Doctor protecting criminals? Is he a criminal too? Where is this UN Dr. Davey from? Is he also from Nigeria? Was he General Agwai's private doctor like the MJ Story? We read FOX NEWS on all this in April. Has this Director been linked to giving those Narcotics called Valium and Diazepam to this Nigerian General to aid in smuggling the Narcotics out of the country through the Nigerian Missions and those Diplomatic pouches? Sounds like another Michael Jackson Scandal. How did that man really die at the UN? Did this Doctor give him drugs too and this is all a big cover-up? Where is the FBI? We can not have people like this in our country.., this cannot be International Soil. The UN clearly can not be trusted. I am sorry this is bad news. The UN has to close once and for all! How many have died already from the Asbestos? New York Post said they won't move because they know they will never be allowed back. Is this true? Is the UN really moving. We think they should! We have not yet read any of your investigations on if there were reported cases of breathing problems and deaths on Asbestos at the UN. Why? Is there a movie on all this yet? You should have the rights to it with Time Warner and Ted!

Corruption, embezzlement, deceit, outright theft, and rampant nepotism for profit run deeper and wider in the organization than in organized crime, and the UN doesn't have the snappy clothes and culinary tastes. America seems to accept with almost benign resignation the rampant crime and corruption within the UN. Even the show-investigation Paul Volker conducted of "Oil For Food" corruption, the greatest heist in all of history, failed to really hold anyone accountable or actually criticize the lack of management, oversight, and accountability within the organization. If the UN is to serve some purpose other than soaking a few countries like the United States at the level of a bogus dating service, the the reform has to begin at the top, and in Washington, London, Paris, and other Western capitals. I'll leave Martin Luther Agwai for others to assess. But, I suspect Dr. King would be horrified that such a man took his name. Write comment

In a stunning development, Martin Luther Agwai, a UNAMID force commander based in Darfur, Sudan, was asked to step down from his prestigious position at the United Nations, two days after the Texas Republic News posted a story about his wife, Ruth Agwai, on June 15, 2009, according to sources knowledgeable on behind-the-scenes activities of the UN. His wife works as an unlicensed nurse for Medical Services at an occupational health clinic inside the UN headquarters building in New York City.
