Obama Surprises DNC, Biden Raps McCain PDF Print E-mail
by Carolyn Barta    Thu, Aug 28, 2008, 09:26 AM

biden obama.jpgNominee Barack Obama made a surprise appearance at the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night, but runningmate Joe Biden's speech was no surprise.  Biden did what he was, in part, selected to do: Attack John McCain.  And he did it with class, prefacing those remarks with an emotional introduction of himself, his background and family. Both men were officially nominated at the convention.

Biden tried to reassure working-class voters and reached out to supporters of Hillary Clinton, as reported by MSNBC in a wrapup the convention.  Also speaking Wednesday:  2004 Democratic nominee John Kerry.  Obama will make his acceptance speech Thursday night at Invesco Field (Mile High Stadium) on the 45th anniversary of the Martin Luther King Jr. "I Have a Dream" speech.

SHOWTIME !!! SHOWTIME !!!!
SURPRISE, SURPRISE !!!!
CHOREOGRAPHED IDIOCY.
OBAMA seems more and more like McGOVERN, another looney Democrat Senator who ran for US president as their 1972 "peace" candidate, as a way to mask what he really was (and is) : a hard-Leftist (just like Obama).

Of course this event was highly choreographed. Much like the RNC will be, and every single event for both candidates for the whole campaigning season. It really is a telling commentary on the sad state of politics in this nation that if you see a candid moment with either politician it means someone in their campaign screwed up.

Joe Biden did a good job of plaguarizing the life of Neil Kinnock as his own though it actually belies any similarity.
