The Washington Post reports that, “the campaign has posted two online videos, filled with clips of journalists saying nice things about McCain’s opponent, on an e-mail message to reporters declaring: “It’s pretty obvious that the media has a bizarre fascination with Barack Obama. Some may even say it’s a love affair … If it wasn’t so serious, it would be funny.” The gimmick wants people to vote on which video they prefer and pledging to put that one on the air. But McCain aides say they will be satisfied if the videos go viral, firing up supporters and donors, which may not become an official campaign ad. written by RelicMM , July 23, 2008 It is about time that you made the inexperience, outright socialistic nature and narcissism of Obama the campaign issue. Who is John pandering to when he praises Obama? I have seen or heard nothing he has said and done that deserves anything but scorn and serious concern about his planned takeover of our nation. I hope Americans have learned more from history than the Germans learned before they canonized a "savior" in Munich.

written by Byron George , July 23, 2008 The media is concerned about being a part of history. It doesn't matter that BHO has vast months of experience, that he has changed positions more often than a mother changes a newborns diaper, they want to be able to say that they were a part of history. They can tell their grandchildren they were part of putting the first black man in the White House. I would vote for Colin Powell, Condi Rice, Clarence Thomas in a heartbeat over the two jokers that are running for president. Obama calls for change! I see what he means, he has changed his position on most every issue since Hillary got out of the race. Change for America? I love this country and it does have it's problems but it is still the greatest nation on earth. I hope you don't change that BHO.

written by Byron George , July 23, 2008 BTW, sure would like to see BHO debate JM without knowing the questions beforehand. Will not happen though. He is afraid we folks who "cling to guns or religion" might discover the real BHO.

written by Grrr , July 23, 2008 What is there to report on the McCain side? McCain is alternativly sad or still talking about how much he loves seeing our best & brightest die. Byron, I am good the Powell, the other 2 are party hacks. Actually, Powell sounds pretty good right now.

Yes, powell looks better every day, but he even has a "tinge" of liberalism! Write comment

Strategists for John McCain have unveiled anew weapon against what they view as ingratiating coverage of his Democratic rival: mockery.
