The man in the frog suit, who only identified himself as Kermit, held a poster reading: ‘Hop it Sarko! Le people a dit non!,’ accompanied with a photograph of Demonstrators are upset that Sarkozy is trying to force According to the Times of London, “the largest element of the protest was the Irish Farmers’ Association which recommended a Yes in Ireland’s May referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, but only after extracting a pledge from the government that it would veto any move by Peter Mandelson, the EU trade commissioner to liberalize trade tariffs in the World Trade Organization talks in Geneva later this week.
