The New York Daily News reports that, “sources told TMZ.com that the couple, who have dated since November 2007, quietly called things quits. Romo was overheard by an Us Weekly spy telling friends that he’s single again. That same night, the mag says, Simpson went on a binge-drinking session with pals.” Recently, Simpson has publicly gushed about her Dallas Cowboys quarterback boyfriend, telling Glamour magazine in its June issue that Romo may become her “future husband.” A close friend of Romo said to Us Weekly in February that he thinks the couple will get married. Simpson has been partly blamed for Romo’s poor performance on the football field near the end of the season. The Cowboys lost a playoff game against the New York Giants. written by Roger Herrera , May 14, 2008 Tony Romo, as a Cowboy fan, I would like to see you focus less on being liked and popular and more on leading America's team to the Promise Land (i.e. Superbowl). Watch tape of Troy Aikman. Troy was an awesome leader of the Cowboys. You never saw him smiling and trying to look good for the camera. Troy's face was intense and focused. Troy would often tell the media that his private life was not public business.
