written by Byron George , May 12, 2008 I'll give Hillary credit for one thing--she does not quit. Does anyone but me think she has something up her sleeve for the convention?

written by Dr. Little , May 13, 2008 The "arithmetic" as of right now shows that it is still possible for Hillary to emerge the victor in the DEM nomination contest; and she and Bill, and their operatives [and her ultimate sponsors] well know that if she concedes then she cannot win; but they also know that if she stays in [like Bill did in 1992] and wins the nomination [like Bill did in 1992] then she may win in November [like Bill did in 1992]. If Hillary really "wallops" Bahama in these two upcoming primaries, that may be enough to get the momentum behind her. It would be a mistake at this juncture to count her out.

written by HSH , May 13, 2008 She's toast and she knows it. She won't fight at the convention. This is all about having a graceful (if you can really call it that) way out and getting some negotiating room. Bill Clinton emerged in March 1992, after the "Super Tuesday" primaries, as the presumptive nominee. The 1992 race was nothing like this one. There was no "staying in like Bill did." By March 1992, the Democratic field was down to Clinton, Tom Harkin and Jerry Brown. Bob Kerry withdrew before the Super Tuesday debate at WFAA in Dallas. Dr. Little, you don't know what you're talking about.

written by Roger Herrera , May 13, 2008 It appears that a combined ticket is fast approaching. An Obama-Clinton campaign would be a tough ticket to beat. Obama can win the White House with Clinton on the ticket. I don't think he can win without her. Those who say they won't vote for a 'black' person make me sick! Write comment
