Code Pink protestors are calling for witches to demonstrate at Berkeley’s controversial Marine Corps recruiting center on Friday.

According to Fox News, “the women’s anti-war group has told ralliers to come equipped with spells and pointy hats Friday for ‘witches, clowns and siren’s day,’ the last of the group’s weeklong homage to Mother’s Day.”

Zanne Sam Joi of Bay Area’s Code Pink is asking witches “to cast spells and do rituals and to impart wisdom to figure out how we’re going to end the war.”

Since September, Code Pink – which was given parking and noise permits by the city council and is allowed to protest during the recruiting center’s business hours – has been protesting daily.

Lately, Code Pink has garnered very little media and faced with a dwindling number of protestors. The anti-war organization hopes the witches will cast an evil spell on the marine recruiters.
