Is there a statistic about the Texas energy market that can't be found?
Chances are it appears in Comptroller Susan Combs's new energy report. Combs held a news conference today and released a four-hundred page report on Texas energy. The report contains statistics such as the amount of federal and state subsidy received by each type of electric fuel and the overall mix of fuel sources in the Texas electric market. “Any source of energy has its benefits and its drawbacks,” Combs said. “As policymakers make decisions to help meet the needs of our ever-growing population, we hope The Energy Report is a tool leaders can use to make informed choices.” The report also looks at the retail electric market and electric prices.
