Susan Morrell, a prosecutor for the Nashua District Court, charged Ms. Hernandez with reckless second-degree murder in the death early Friday of Mr. Beaudoin. She was ordered held without bail after her arraignment on Monday. She could not enter a plea since her charges, including aggravated drunken driving, are felonies. The Boston Globe reports that, “authorities won’t describe the argument beforehand in Slade’s Food & Spirits, but witnesses said it heated up when Hernandez identified herself as a New York Yankees fan. Ivonne Hernandez, 43, a New York Yankees fan, allegedly ran-over Matthew Beaudoin, 29, a Boston Red Sox fan, with her car after she got into a heated argument with the victim. Witnesses said she never hit the brakes when she accelerated her car at a small group of Red Sox fans.
