Police Taser 94-Year-Old Man PDF Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Fri, May 2, 2008, 05:10 PM

Taser stun-gun.jpgA 94-year-old man allegedly shot and killed an Oakland man. He was taken into custody after the police used a Taser stun-gun on him.

Fox News reports that, “police say a 94-year-old man shot and killed his landlord Thursday night as the two argued in a store parking lot on East 8th Street.”

After the shooting, the suspect returned to his home and refused to surrender to the police. The officers then entered his house after a three-hour stand-off and they were able to subdue him with the use of a Taser stun-gun.

Tom,
I enjoy your articles but I don't understand the point of this one. The man obviously had a gun somewhere. Seems the police used great restraint in taking him into custody using only a stun gun.

Byron George: It's not often that a 94-year-old man gets Tasered. But I'm curious, did the elderly man say: "Don't Tase me Bro!"
