Kelleher boasts that his “en suite” accommodations are “outstanding.” He is rewarded with enough money each week to purchase cigarettes, chocolate and “other luxury goods,” so long as he participates in a “math” educational program. According to the Telegraph of London, “a prison officer, who has worked at The health care center in The Telegraph quotes a letter from Kelleher as saying, “I am better off in here. I can only imagine how cold it was this winter living on the streets. May I just say that the food and accommodation is of outstanding quality here. Donald Kelleher, 37, an inmate at HMP Cardiff (British prison), said he is enjoying a “luxury life” in prison and would prefer staying in the correctional facility instead of regaining his freedom. He was imprisoned for repeatedly stabbing his wife.
