Fox News reports that, “German Talis, 22, was shouting obscenities at the Bushes, who were leaving the building Tuesday, when he crossed paths with Wendy and John Lovetro and their daughter Maureen, 18, who has cerebral palsy.” The Lovetro family had been in the audience to hear the Bushes talk about their children’s book, “Read All About It.” The Heckler began yelling about Mr. Lovetro is quoted by Fox News as telling the man: “What are you doing? Shut up. This is about a child and books. Get out of here, you’re being a moron.” The heckler responded to those comments by punching Mr. Lovetro’s daughter in the face. But the Bushes will be hounded and reviled for the rest of their lives and will need extra Secret Service protection long after they depart the White House. Is everyone ready for traffic-snarling convoys of black SUVs as they roam Dallas? It is doubtful that Laura's husband could travel abroad without being charged as a war criminal. Fox News and some of the above posters have tried to make this tale about how all liberals are nuts. The truth is a large majority of Americans yearn for a speedy end to this disastrous presidency.
