CNN Reporter Faces Meth Charges PDF Print E-mail
by Tom McGregor    Fri, Apr 18, 2008, 04:54 PM

CNN Meth.jpgA reporter for CNN International, Richard Quest, was to be arraigned Friday on drug possession charges after the police found and arrested him in New York City’s Central Park. He had methamphetamine in his pocket.

Quest was first approached by police officers since he was seen violating the park curfew. He confessed to the police, “I have meth in my pocket,” as he was being escorted out of the park at around 3:40 a.m.

Fox News reports that, “police reportedly recovered a small amount of methamphetamine in a plastic bag … Quest, who is British, hosts ‘CNN Business Traveler’ for the network. CNN had no comment.”

He probably needed the meth to justify why he had to cover the New Hampshire primary.

Richard Quest always sounded like he was on drugs, that's because he is!

Well that would explain at least half of CNN's problems

have you seen who CNN hires these days? Mostly juvenile styled reporters, who are more interested in how they look and sound (think airhead narcissistic Robin Meade). CNN is incapable of delivering hard nosed journalism anymore - it's become tabloid 24/7. What a bunch of egoistical dumb bunnies with personal issues masquerading as journalists. Please would someone fire everyone at CNN under the age of 50 soon?
