The Dallas Education Foundation will make an announcement about a major gift to DISD at a news conference scheduled Tuesday, (Feb. 26) at 10:30 am at Felix G. Botello Elementary School, 225 S. Marsalis Ave.

Ron Kirk, Dallas ISD Superintendent of School Michael Hinojosa, Dallas Education Foundation board members, Dallas ISD Trustees and administrators, Dallas Achieves Commission and donors, and other community leaders will be present during the news conference.

Does that mean DISD won’t need to raise our property taxes again with yet another bond election tentatively planned for this May?
