DMN reporter Rudolph Bush, who covered the 2004 Illinois Senate campaign and Barack Obama's early days as a U.S. senator, writes about Obama's rapid political ascendancy in Illinois in a small but interesting story headlined "No one knew Obama in '04," in the morning paper. Tell us more, Rudy. Will the DMN send you back to Illinois to do some on-the-ground reporting, interviewing Obama's state senate colleagues?
