Andrew Anthony Guerrero, 23, a man police were seeking in the brutal slayings of a Kansas City woman and her infant daughter was arrested at a Motel 6 near Interstate 35 in Denton, Tx. where his 3-year-old son was found safe. According to Officer Jim Bryan, a spokesman for Denton police, Guerrero was being held in jail in Denton.

The Houston Chronicle reports that “Guerrero was charged late Sunday in Kansas City, Kan., with one count of aggravated interference with parental custody, said Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerry Gorman. Any other charges against Guerrero will be determined after he meets with police, Gorman said.”

Seth Guerrero, the boy, was the subject of an overnight Amber Alert. He was found in good condition and the child was placed in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Kansas City, Kansas police have publicly identified the victims of the murders as Nicolette Lyons-Reed, and her 8-month-old daughter Leah Lyons-Reed, who were found shot to death in their home Sunday.
