Catching Up with the MLB Offseason PDF Print E-mail
by Sam Merten    Thu, Nov 8, 2007, 11:26 AM

I’ve been a little busy with this Trinity toll road thingy, so it’s been a while since my last MLB post. I’ll cook up some thoughts on the MLB offseason and give a review of Jon Daniels’ second year as GM, but for now, I’ll give you some links to get you caught up on what’s been happening recently.

First of all, there’s not a whole lot you can get free on ESPN anymore, but they do have some cool “winter forecasts” for each team that you can check out without your Insider subscription. Seattle Times writer Larry Stone previewed the Rangers, Angels, A’s and Mariners. San Francisco Chronicle writer John Shea previewed the Rockies, Padres, Giants, Diamondbacks and Dodgers. Providence Journal and ESPN writer Sean McAdam previewed the Red Sox, Yankees, Blue Jays, Orioles and Devil Rays. Sports columnist and ESPN contributor Bob Klapisch previewed the Mets, Phillies, Braves, Marlins and Nationals. The other two divisions are upcoming.
