Vince Vaughan and Dirk Nowitzki are at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.
Nowitzki is the Grand Marshall at today’s Dickies 500. While this is the Dallas Mavericks star’s first NASCAR race, he’s no stranger to speed. Nowitzki told a group of reporters that on the autobahn in his native Germany, he’s been known to drive upwards of 150 mph.
Vaughan, who’s at TMS to promote his new film, “Fred Clause,” spent time joking with reporters and said while he would consider making a racing-themed movie, he’s not interested in filming a sequel to Will Ferrell’s NASCAR spoof, “Talladega Nights.”
Nowitzki will give the command to start engines, and Vaughan is scheduled to drive a pace truck during the opening parade laps of the race.
