As reported by the New York Times, “the response to the worst drought on record in the Southeast has unfolded in ultra-slow motion. All summer, more than a year after the drought began, fountains sprayed and football fields were watered, prisoners got two showers a day and Coca Cola’s bottling plants chugged along at full-strength. written by Farinata X , October 23, 2007 I can't wait for all the "small government conservatives" like Governor Sonny to demand government assistance for their mostly self-inflicted water woes. Can anyone say "unregulated suburban sprawl"? These hypocrites will be demanding a new TVA pretty soon so they can keep their golf courses watered and their pools filled. Write comment
