CNN says it has learned from Washington and Idaho sources that Rep. Larry Craig, scorned by his party over an airport restroom incident, will resign soon from Congress -- perhaps as early as today. Craig has been under pressure to quit since news that he was arrested in June at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and  pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge. 

As the Republican Party has suffered from a list of scandals in recent years, its national committee was poised to ask fro Craig's resignation but has held off, CNN says, because of Craig's plan to vacate his Idaho seat.  Here's the story.
