Sandeep Kumar, a semiconductor industry veteran and serial entrepreneur is the personification of "Dream Big, Work Harder". Currently he is the CEO of MicroStaq (semiconductor MEMS valves) and he has founded and led several companies: Ambrado (integrated multimedia solutions for HDTV & IPTV markets); Anthron (robotic software for entertainment and service robots), and Adimos (wireless multimedia connectivity solutions). His more than 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry spans leading R&D teams, commercializing emerging technologies, developing new businesses, M&A, forging strategic partnerships, and private equity investments. Kumar, an IIT-Delhi (1984) and University of Cincinnati alumnus, worked for 16 years with Texas Instruments during which he established TI's operations in Israel. He had also served as Venture Partner at Crimson and Executive Advisor to Jerusalem Venture Partners. Kumar talks about the dream country for entrepreneurs, transitioning from a large corporation to start-up, R & D and innovation developments in Israel, the future of the semiconductor industry, the growth and impact of Asia on the electronics industry and he also identifies new growth opportunities.
