Big D _ short for Big Frisco _ has a prestigious role next Tuesday as the first outside-of-LA stop for world-famous soccer player David Beckham. And it's no accident.

Soccer bigwhigs want a great stage (Pizza Hut Park) and a very soccer friendly atmosphere _ Frisco is the home of the US Youth Soccer National Championship being played through Sunday.

Think a few of those families will stay two days extra to Bend it like Beckham and see Posh Spice.
