Dallas ISD Trustees voted at tonight's interminable Board meeting to deep-six the month-old requirement that high school students carry clear backpacks to expedite security check-in. More on the meeting tomorrow.

Saldaña , June 29, 2007 Carolyn, could you give us feedback on any and all action/discussion given on DISD's residency policy as it pertains to Dr. Hinojosa's deadline of July 1st for all DISD executive staff to move back into DISD boundaries? Our LULAC (Dallas LULAC Council 4496 - Jesse Diaz) council is receiving what appears to be credible information on individuals who are not being candid on where they really live. Write comment
