Sen. Jane Nelson (R-Lewisville) requested the Attorney General's opinion on the constitutionality of the Lottery Commission's recent adoption of rule changes allowing some form of electronic pull-tab bingo. The Attorney General in April issued an opinion stating that the state constitution requires Texas voters to approve or disapprove the use of electronic pull-tab bingo, aka, video bingo machines.
