Perry Invited to Rule the World PDF Print E-mail
by Scott Bennett    Fri, Jun 22, 2007, 12:17 AM

Perry World.jpgAccording to Wikipedia the Bilderberg Group is an unofficial annual invitation-only conference of around 130 guests, most of whom are persons of influence in the fields of business, media, and politics. The elite group meets annually throughout the world, normally in Europe, once every four years in the US or Canada.  To conspiracy enthusiasts they are the group that seceretly runs the world.

Apparently Texas own Governor, Rick Perry, is now one of the chosen few who run the world.  He was an invitee at this year's Bilderberg Conference along with such liminaries as the Governor of Kansas, the definisrated head of the World Bank Paul Wolfowitz, investment banker Henry Kravis, political guru Michael Barone of US News, and world king Henry Kessinger.

So take that you 61% of Texans who didn't vote for Perry.  With friends like these he doesn't need you.

ANd so is every right-wing conspiracy nut's dearest theory disproved. No self respecting world order would have this guy on board.

There's plenty for Texas conspiracy nuts to chew on. Henry Kravis heads one of the investor groups buying out TXU. Wonder what they had to talk about that benefited from flying halfway around the world to Istanbul for secret meetings? Hmm...

If they can get Perry out of Texas, even for a while, it is worth the embarassment of having him running around the world representing Texas. Do you think he is priming himself to be VP?

Apparently, they are auditioning Perry for a much larger role. My guess is that he will not pass muster. There is probably a lot of truth to the so-called "conspiracy nuts" who claim groups like the Bildergergers and CFR exert tremendous influence in the world. If we would quit agreeing with those who want to label those who bring these claims as whacko conspiracy nuts, maybe we could engage in a healthy, open discussion about the role of such groups on national and international affairs.
