After receiving an offer from North Texas and Tulsa, Taylor told rivals.com he was going to make a pledge to stay in the Lone Star State and head to North Texas as a slotback receiver.
Taylor also played for coach Clayton George at Hillcrest, who is now an assistant at North Texas.
