Flower Mound sophomore quarterback/baseball player Jacob Morris will have to sit out a calendar year before becoming eligible if he transfers to Coppell, ruled the District 6-5A executive committee. If players move for athletic purposes, they must establish a year of residency. If the move is not deemed for athletic purposes, the student can participate in 15 days. Morris can appeal the decision to the UIL executive committee. If Morris' ruling isn't overturned, he could transfer to a private school with immediate eligibility. McKinney G commits to Gillispie McKinney's standout 6-0 PG GJ Vilarino has committed to Kentucky and new coach Billy Gillispie, just a few days after Gillispie left Texas A&M. Vilarino is a play-making, passing guard similar to Acie Law IV and Gillispie likely will want Vilarino to improve his outside that turned Law into an all-around player and and All-American. http://texasprepxtra.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=662064
