Coppell plays at Duncanville at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Sandra Meadows Gymnasium in a showdown of state contenders in the Class 5A boys basketball playoffs. The winner will be a top contender to challenge for the state tournament March 9-11 in Austin. DeSoto, the 2005 state runner-up, plays South Grand Prairie at 7 p.m. Saturday at Arlington Martin.
