Former Hillcrest star Derrione Dedmon gets his shot at fame with ESPN's Knight School that begins 9 pm. Sunday. Dedmon, a freshman, is one of 16 candidates trying for a walk-on spot for Texas Tech next season. The show features Red Raiders coach Bobby Knight's intensity and basketball expertise. Dedmon, who showed a lot of athletic flashes at Hillcrest, made the cut from 150 applicants last August. The show was taped from September through October and will be broadcast as a 6-part series.
