The state has rested its case in the trial of Dena Schlosser, the Plano mother on trial for the brutal murder of her infant daughter more than a year ago.

Schlosser's husband testifed Tuesday that he didn't believe Ms. Schlosser when she told him over the phone that she had cut her daughter's arms off with a knife.

Ms. Schlosser has plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
