Gov. Rick Perry and Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn have released their fundraising totals for their upcoming ethics commission reports. Strayhorn issued a news release reporting having $8.1 million cash on hand. She raised $2.4 in contributions from July 1st through December 31, 2005.
Perry spokesman Robert Black said that the Perry campaign will report cash on hand of $11.5 million with $4.6 million in the last six months of 2005.
The detailed filings are due at the ethics commission by the close of business January 17th
