Scott Bennett is a former member of the Dallas Morning News Editorial Board where he was also a nationally distributed columnist on politics and business. Prior to joining the News he was Public Affairs Editor and columnist for Texas Business Magazine. Bennett is the recipient of several Headliner and Katie awards. In 1983 Scott co-founded the Austin political newsletter, Quorum Report, with Tim Richardson. Before entering the journalism field he worked as a campaign manager and political staffer for candidates for offices ranging from Mayor of Dallas to Governor of Texas to President. Today, he is a Dallas based consultant in strategic business transformation. |
